For more than 100 years, the Szawlowski family has been growing potatoes in the fertile soils of Massachusetts' Pioneer Valley. Today, Barnwood Valley Farms carries that legacy forward as a sixth-generation family operation, combining generations of farming expertise with modern packing, distribution, and sustainability practices. Led by Colin Szawlowski and his family, the farm continues a tradition that began in 1910 while helping build new opportunities for local agriculture.

Located in Hadley, Massachusetts, Barnwood Valley Farms specializes in growing and packing high-quality potatoes, including russet, yellow, white, and red varieties. The farm's 30,000-square-foot packing facility features state-of-the-art sorting, bagging, stacking, and packaging equipment, allowing products to be custom packed for retail and foodservice customers. An on-site cooling facility helps preserve freshness from harvest through distribution, ensuring quality throughout the supply chain.

Beyond its own fields, Barnwood Valley Farms is deeply committed to supporting neighboring farms throughout the Pioneer Valley. By partnering with local growers, the team helps pack and distribute potatoes, broccoli, peppers, squash, sweet corn, and other seasonal produce to retailers and restaurants across the Northeast. These partnerships create dependable market opportunities for regional farmers while making locally grown produce more accessible to consumers.
