Located in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, WOW Grapes is at the forefront of one of the most exciting breakthroughs in American fruit breeding: the development of the world's first truly seedless muscadine grapes. The farm serves as the primary research, evaluation, and production center for new seedless muscadine varieties, combining decades of scientific innovation with hands-on farming expertise.

The story began more than 30 years ago when grape breeder Jeff Bloodworth set out to accomplish what many researchers believed was impossible, introducing seedlessness into muscadine grapes while preserving their distinctive flavor, natural vigor, and disease resistance. Building on early research at North Carolina State University, Jeff spent decades making thousands of careful crosses and selections before achieving the breakthrough that would forever change muscadine breeding.

WOW Grapes is best known for introducing groundbreaking seedless muscadine varieties that deliver the rich, aromatic flavor muscadines are loved for, without the inconvenience of large seeds. Naturally disease resistant and well adapted to the Southeastern climate, these grapes require significantly fewer pesticide inputs than many conventional table grapes while offering juicy sweetness, tender textures, and the bold, distinctive character that has made muscadines a regional favorite for generations.
