American inspired pasture-raised red meat and blue cheese recipe for Fourth of July celebrations. Try this recipe for lunch parties, dinner parties, or whenever you want to fire up the grill in the summertime. This hamburger is stuffed with funky blue cheese to add more flavor to every bite. Top with bacon to really wow your barbeque guests.

Here is how to make this recipe with purpose-fueled food that’s better for the prosperity of our planet and people.

Ingredients

  • 1lb. pasture-raised ground beef
  • ¼ cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1lb. pasture-raised bacon
  • 8 pickles
  • 4 bibb lettuce, separated into single leaves
  • 1 slicing tomato, sliced
  • ½ white onion, sliced
  • 4 burger buns of your choice

Directions

In a frying pan or on the griddle on the grill, fry your bacon to desired crispiness. Set aside to cool.

Pat eight ½ inch thick burger patties. On four of the burger patties, spoon 1 tbsp. of blue cheese crumbles. Use the remaining four burger patties to cover the blue cheese crumbles. Press the edges together, so that the blue cheese won’t escape when it starts to melt.

Place your four stuffed burger patties on the grill. Grill for four minutes on each side or until done. Remove from the grill.

Start building your burger from the bottom up. On the bottom bun, place your bibb lettuce, condiments, and onion. Then, place your burger patty, slice of tomato, two pickles, and bacon slices. On top of the bacon goes the top bun. Enjoy!
