The measurements listed below make two to three servings.

Here is how to make this recipe with purpose-fueled food that’s better for the prosperity of our planet and people.

Ingredients

  • 1 large asian pear or 2 bartlett or bosc pears
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp grated or minced ginger
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp red miso paste
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp. butter

Directions

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees fahrenheit.

Slice the pear into ¼ inch thin slices. Set aside.

In a small bowl, combine the miso paste, oil, honey, and balsamic vinegar and stir until thoroughly combined. Add the pear slices and toss to evenly distribute the wet ingredients.

Lightly grease a baking sheet with butter, and then lay the coated pear slices on the sheet.

Bake at 425 degrees for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
