Matriark Foods
Matriark Foods is a women-owned food company based in New York that transforms surplus and imperfect vegetables into healthy, shelf-stable products such as sauces, broths, and meals. Its mission is to reduce food waste while supporting American farmers and increasing access to nutritious food. Matriark is Women-Owned, Upcycled Certified, and a 1% for the Planet member. Since 2019, its sourcing has diverted more than 1.5 million pounds of vegetables from landfills, while its products create new markets for excess produce from small and mid-sized farms.
